I kicked off the Trust Tour on Thanksgiving Day 2009, committing 1000 days of my life to studying trust. Why you ask? I realized that trust is the basis for everything in our lives and at 47 years old I could not think of anything more important to do with mine.
I am not holding myself up to be more trusted or trusting than anyone else, I am human just like you. I am however passionate about observing the effects of integrity and trust in our world. I see beauty when it is present and devastation when it is absent. As I learn, I am documenting these experiences and posting them on my blog. This commitment means that I will document 1000 trust experiences before the tour ends on August 22nd 2012. Along the way I hope to inspire corporations, governments, teachers, students, myself and you to raise the bar on trust.
To build trust you have to take a risk, I am inviting you to take a small risk and come along with me as we learn about how trust makes a difference in our world.
Want to know more? The Trust Tour is a personal journey to discover trust in all aspects of life but my background is in business. I am the author of Trust, How to put “it” back in business. My brother Glen and I co-founded Charter Partners, a company that uses Cooperative Entrepreneurship to organize 100’s of entrepreneurs into creative teams. It might help to think of it as a co-op for the entrepreneurial mind. I am the founder the Charter Partners Institute and WINGS , these hands-on learning experiences have taught 1000’s of high school and college students the concept of Cooperative Entrepreneurship. I am also a co-owner of Charter Farms a retreat in eastern Pennsylvania. I enjoy making video shorts, hiking and flying helicopters (the real ones). Most of all I love people, especially when we share great music, food, wine and honest conversation. I live in both Bethlehem Pennsylvania and St Petersburg Florida.
See you on the tour!
