Here is another great video from TED. When I watched it, it gave me the perspective of the whole… the whole universe. We look awful small from way out there. Maybe we should start thinking about sticking together. We are alone in this very, very big place or as Jill Tarter from SETI (Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence) tells us, there is a good chance that we are NOT alone.

It was clear in our family that when we gave our word it meant something important. My parents would say, “your word is your bond.” We each had an individual responsibility to the whole. We knew that our actions had an impact on each other. My dad or mom would often say at the end of a thought… “you are a Welch, Welchs’ do (this) or they don’t do (that)…” I felt a sense of pride (not arrogance) to be a Welch. [...] -

(Day 140) Helicopter Trust

Recently I put my helicopter up for sale and in doing so I realize there are many friends who have not yet had the opportunity to fly. I cannot sell it without giving you a chance to have this amazing experience. So, I am going to set aside some time to take you for a flight over the Lehigh Valley.

(Day 139) Getting “IT” Out There
If you have been following the Trust Tour, you know that “IT” stands for (I)ntegrity and (T)rust. The mission of the Trust Tour is to raise the bar on “IT”. The Trust movement can only take root with the support of the next generation. When they think this is important to their future they will start talking about it to each other. Well, the good news is it’s starting. The other day at Saint Francis University, one student taught one class on trust, his name is Curtis Webb Jr. Curtis is a former student and mentor for the Charter Partners Institute. He took this picture and sent it along with the email message below.Thanks so much for sending me the Trust Bands to share with my Business Ethics class. They helped to enhance my presentation and really helped them to internalize the mission of the Trust Tour and Charter Partners.
As a thank you, they agreed to have their photo taken with the world famous Trust Tour. I have attached the original along with one I edited with logos. I told them them that they may become famous! Hint: Featuring our class would likely drive a good deal of traffic to the site. I also left the Trust Towel Jill sent with my professor. He told me that he loved what it stood for and would likely incorporate it into his future Business Ethics classes.
PS. I received a 100% on the final presentation.
